Job Description

Ensure the safety and productivity of all employees assigned to the team

Co-ordinate and negotiate labour allocation across teams to meet demand

Enable effective communications between management and operators

Engage and participate on delivery of all key performance indicators (output, efficiency, timekeeping etc.)

Provide production planning updates at daily meetings
-
Train new employees and coach existing employees, ensuring skills match the roles, operators are deployed
-
Maintain a clean and safe workplace in accordance with 5S programme
-
Ensure quality standards are achieved and maintained in the manufacturing area
-
First line investigation, reporting and action on all incidents (accidents, performance, attendance etc.)

Manufacture and pack products as necessary
-
Liaise with Warehousing/Distribution to ensure material and finished products are transacted correctly and on time
-
Lead and participate in cross-functional and cross-site process improvement initiatives
-
To undertake related duties as situations dictate
